“Start From Now”

Forget about the past,
don’t even look to the future,
all we have is today,
So start from now.

Do you ever have the kind of day where you didn’t do anything you wanted to? You just let it slip away from you, than startled to beat yourself up for it? Wherever you are right now is a new beginning.

So pick yourself up,
brush yourself off,
Start all over again.

What are you waiting for
Start from now!

About connieszone

I've come to know myself as a unique individual expression of God. I love that there is only one me in all the world. I'm still learning, growing and experiencing all the wonders that this life has to teach me. I live, move, and breath in this shell of a body God has given me, and together we travel. He see's, hears, taste, smells and touches all that I experience through the individual personality that I am. I believe He exist in each one of us for the same purpose. I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. I love to write and express the many thoughts that swim around in my head. I love to read. I'm a creative crafty kind of person. I love being in my garden. I've been working on my families genecology for 25 years. I think that about sums me up for now.

    • It’s a long story, but my Dad used to tell me that. When he died I found a sticky not on the inside of his medicine cabinet. I could see him reading it each day when he opened it to get his razor blade & shaving cream out.

    • Not sure if you got my response so resending it.
My Dad used to say it to me often. When he died I found a yellow sticky on the inside door of his medicine cabinet with the words “start from now” written on it. It was the first place he went in the morning as he prepared to shave. I always pictured him reading it as a reminder of how to start his day. I have not been able to find any specific source. There are many references to it written in many different ways. I assume my Dad picked it up from one of his inspirational books. I still have that note written in his hand writing. I keep it in a little frame where I can read each morning as my own day begins.
